When digital technologies are introduced to monitor biodiversity in participatory formats, old and new ecologies emerge. Some are more noticeable and others operate in the background. This collective consists of such unstable and dynamic relations between digital technologies, humans, and multispecies entities that contribute to the various multidimensional ways in which biodiversity can be understood.
