Lost Rainforests of Britain, spearheaded by Guy Shrubsole in 2021, is a campaign calling for the Government to implement a ‘Great British Rainforests Strategy’. This strategy foregrounds ambitious commitment to the restoration and protection of existing UK temperate rainforest and funding for further restoration.

As part of the campaign, Shrubsole has published a book and a website has been launched. The website fosters knowledge sharing and platforms various forest technologies. For example, highlighting GIS maps of bracken that can be used to indicate ghost woodland.
